Here is the deal: i use watermarks in order to try and protect my work, i hate them but i find it necessary, but in the other hand, how safe are they? isnt it possible that any good user of photoshop could simply erase it? i mean, i personaly develope my own technique to texture skin for example, isnt it possible that some other guy has the specialty of erasing watermarks? lolll you get my point right? And lately i have come up with lots of people complaining about art stealing and how bad the internet is to post your stuff so i wonder if there is any other way of protecting my work unless using my watermark. i think the watermark kinda ruines the work but its the only way i know of to protect my work, cuz even if you have your work copyrighted, it doesnt mean you come across everytime somebody uses it right? so i would like to know if you use watermarks or any other technique to protect your work and why
